Electric power steering
Hey guys- I have a 1993 integra RS that I permanently de powered the steering years back by looping the lines.... I did it for weight savings and engine bay aesthetics. I followed a tutorial posted here that involves removing these valves inside the body to alleviate the difficulty to turn the wheel- I believe they control the fluid pressure inside the rack.

Now..... I no longer have those valves and am planning to run an EElctric power steering setup from a toytota MR2. Will having removed these valves affect the electric steering setup and if so how? Thanks

Re: Electric power steering
yes it will affect the setup you will have to reinstall everything you took out or get another p/s rack. your going to use a ehps setup.
its basically the same as stock expect the pump is being driven electrically instead of the engine. the system still runs on hydraulic fluid
with removing the valves it wont have the right pressures in the rack
