Dome light not turning on
My dome light is not working when i switch it to the "on" position but the "door open" and "off" does work good. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? The bulb is not burned out.

What do you mean "the door open and off does work"?
If you mean the dome light works when you open a door and you can turn the dome light off completely, then the problem is the switch ot the ground for the switch. 94

Edited: I wasn't thinking when i wrote that. You have to take the switch out, put the meter on both terminals, then check for contnuity

Also: pop the cover off and have a look for a Philips-head screw set into a silver tab. If you see an open hole instead, that may be the cause. That screw is one of the grounds for the "on" setting.

If you move the switch from Door Open to On verrry slowly, can you make the light come on? What if you work the switch back and forth rapidly, many many times?

Re: Dome light not turning on
Dome lights on all Integra are the same, [work the same way] 12V+ is supplied directly to the light bulb, the 3 position switch connects the ground for the bulb to either a direct ground, [dome light mounting screw] the door pins or not ground for off.
As mentioned, pop the cover off and check the mountiing screw going through the metal "tab", if ther is no screw, install one, if ther is a screw, make sure it is tight. 94

Re: Dome light not turning on
I guess. But I'm not seeing how, unless somebody's punched the switch and broken the white plastic the pins are set into. These switches are very durable and well-made.
Why don't you remove your entire dome light and disassemble it? If it's broken, you'll be able to tell right away. You will need a very tiny electronics-type Philips screwdriver for the tiny screws on the top off the assembly. And watch out for a couple of little springs which can zing out and get lost!
But before you do that, try using a piece of wire or a paper clip to jump the silver tab on the inboard side of the bulb to the big Philips screw. Does the light come on now?

Bingo, fixed! My screw was missing. No where to be found, put in a new screw. THANKS, appreciated!!
