Difference between the DC2 94-01 USDM Integra and the JDM Integra?
What's the difference between the USDM 94-01 Integra GSR and the JDM Integra non-Type R, besides the front end headlights? Were they called the GSR as well? I know the New Zealand Integra's are called the Sir G but what about Japan?

the gsr's in japan are also called sirg's, the jdm itrs have a diff header for one thing and there are some internal differences too, the jdm itr makes more power, and has an lsd....just my input, there are many people who know more about it than me

I believe the Sir-g was also available as an automatic, opposed to our GSR being manual only. JDM ITRs have a shorter final drive than our USDM ITR, I believe its about 4.73 opposed to our 4.3, i may be off on the numbers as I read that a while ago.

Re: Difference between the DC2 94-01 USDM Integra and the JDM Integra?
I'm truly sorry for bringing up an old thread but I'm preparing myself in purchasing a true JDM RHD ITR 98 Spec. I still have a ways to go (importing wise) but I'm trying to pull up as much information as possible. I would like to know the complete difference between the USDM/CDN ITR and JDM ITR.
I need detailed engine differences and not only the engine itself but everything around it. All the emissions differences like if it the JDM has EVAP or not or EGR or something else.
I would also like to know detailed chassis differences, suspension, body work, etc etc. A complete run down. I need to know this information before finalizing my purchase decision on importing a JDM ITR 98 Spec or purchasing one within North America.
I'm not planning on doing any major modifications. Perhaps Spoon front and rear bars and a Mugen twin loop but that would be the very last things as I enjoy the car as is stock. I love the JDM ITR because of the 16inch white wheels, different front end, engine, different instrument cluster, steering wheel and Recaro interior.
I haven't done all my calculations just yet but I'm assuming it would cost me more to purchase an ITR within North America and do a COMPLETE JDM conversion, excluding the right hand drive.
So does anyone have a side by side comparison? I'm still searching on Google and dedicated Integra websites so I might encounter the answers I am looking for before someone posts up but it would still be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

Thanks for the link. I've already started reading it! Great stuff.
I'm importing the ITR into Canada as that's where I am located. In Canada you are allowed to import any car thats 15 years or older from other countries. So in 2013 I am able to import a RHD JDM ITR. I just want to know the differences between the USDM and JDM.
