db8 rear defroster weaksauce any fix?
I replaced my window hoping that the rear defroster works so I can see where im backing up.
but this thing is weak as sht.
takes about 15 minutes to defrost it barely.
just the lines around the defroster not even whole window.
all defroster lines work and I get good voltage at the terminals.
ive seen many people complain about this. but is there a way to modify it to increase current slightly so it heats up quicker in cold temps?
I know I will be pushing my luck but this thing is useless I might as well not have defroster at this pace

Cant agree with you on that note. My rear windshield defrosts in minutes. Not as quick as my other cars, but no complaints here.
Not even sure what voltage reading is expected @ the terminals...Maybe there's a break somewhere in the surrounding outer area of the windshield?

If every line in the defroster works, the issue is each line isn't heating up the windshield far enough? IMO, removing a windshield from a car isn't easy to do cleanly. there's leftover sealant that has to be removed before it can be reused on another car. Maybe the problem is around the edges of the windshield? Or maybe something happened during installation due to too much sealant?
