Re: DB2 attempt #2
for the passed few weeks i had been having an issue with a bog around 3500rpms, so i went on a rampage, first i replaced the tps, was still doing it. then i replaced the igniter in the dizzy and it was still acting up.. so the next day i changed cap, rotor, and plugs and for ***** and giggles did a compression test. she seems pretty solid all across and the car runs perfect now, even calibrated the tps and shes on point..

Re: DB2 attempt #2
today was an absolute **** show, this colorado cars suspension is rusty as ****, the bolt snapped for for a camber arm so thats stuck, the welds snapped that hold the threaded part for one of the lower control arm bolts, so that is stuck as well.. the front came apart easy, the right rear came apart easy, but the left rear ughhhh... i also ripped out all the abs sensors, and started taking it apart in the front to do an abs delete, cuz well i hate how it looks, and i hate abs..

rusty bolts are such a bitch when it comes to suspension. i fought with mine for a week straight almost, drilling and cutting etc... when i finally won the battle, i bought all new bolts etc.. from honda and coated the crap out of them with antiseeze. being in texas, you shouldnt need to take that extra step when you get the new stuff on. jealous....lol

Re: DB2 attempt #2
SS bolts are not strong enough for suspension use. I think ph-7 ones are still not as strong as the OE class 10.9's.
Nice car though.

Re: DB2 attempt #2
ive ran these bolts before through auto-cross and a few track days at the road course.. never had an issue with them.. if they were unsafe i don't think they'd sell them

Re: DB2 attempt #2
lol thanks for clearing that up.. i didn't think they would sell weak bolts for suspension.. i drove the car for the first time since being worked on, and removed some of the rear camber first.. shes a tad rough but oh well lol..
