Dashboard not working - Integra 1988
Hi, my dashboard stopped working a while ago and I was wondering what might be a solution to it. My RPM, Fuel Guage, and Temprature Guage, all don't work anymore but my MPH Guage still works. I heard that it might be a blown fuse but I don't know which ones to check. Never really could learn about cars very well.
If it is a blown fuse, is there some way someone might be able to put up a picture so that I might be able to find it easier?
Forgot to mention my brake lights still work only when I press down on the brake peddal, but when I turn on my headlights, the back lights don't come on like they should. Also the turn signals dont work anymore at all.

Your speedometer is run by a cable from the transmission. So it is independent of your electric gauges. Check the fuses in the fuse box.

The fuse box should have a fuse diagram. You can look at the fuses to see if they are bad. If one is blown do not replace it with a higher current (Amp) fuse.
Hopefully you can get some help because there are no many Gen 1 owners here.

Ok I acutally got the fuse fixed, my brother actually told me to put in a higher fuse and it is actually working better and isn't being burnt up ever time I turn on the turn signal. I think the wiring might be messed up inside of it or something.

Fix the turn signal. Installing a higher amp fuse can cause wiring issues much greater than you currently have.

Ok, thanks, I will get that done, my car is in the shop right now but once it's out I will put on a new turn signal. If anything, I might have them replace some of the wiring and stuff in it anyway because it really is all messed up.
