Crazy day
Ok so i was driving from my house to the Tax Assessor's office to register my car. On my way back, the car started vibrating... only on acceleration under load... if i let go of the gas, then it'll stay smooth. so i thought it was the AXLE and it vibrates on the passenger side. A couple of minutes later, it vibrates again and this time i let go of the gas and it's still vibrating and wobbling sideways so i pulled over and checked my front passenger tire. no problems that i can see. I checked underneath too to see what was up and put my hand and rub all 4 tires to see if any of them are out of rounds, ALAS! nothing
so i drove the car again and only vibrates after i hit 3rd gear onwards and if i go over 70, then the vibration lessens. needless to say, i'm still leaning on bad axles.
30 minutes later, when i hit the interstate... the freaking vibration stopped and none of the symptoms i posted above are showing. I was like WTF? no wobbles, no vibrations, no nothing. i step on the gas hard and it's still smooth like it's brand new.
I know you guys think i'm crazy but this is what happened today. although, i'm still skeptical about the axles still. I called O'reilly auto parts and asked them for axles and they told me they have the Master Pro, Master Pro Select and Fidanza axles... I've heard about the Master Pro being re-man axles, and Master Pro Select being the new ones.
Now, the question is, does any of you guys have any experience using the Fidanza Axles? let me know coz i'm planning to get a set :D
