crack my tranny! should i jb weld!? please give feed back
i just put a new motor in and i guess i must have droped the tranny or something im not sure, it has a little crack right under the fluid check plug, should i jb weld it? or my brother has one of them wire feed flux welders, witch would be better to do? thank you its on a 95 gsr tranny

you can only weld Aluminum with Aluminum so hope he can do that
other wise try the jb weld and hope to god the banging gears dosent rip it open

been there with the H22 tranny it sucks!
but if he can weld Al it might work out ok

youd have to braze weld that , your not flux core welding cast alluminum forget it. as long as its not too bad , clean the area of all grease like godly clean man. mix up some jbweld for metal and slap it over the crack , it will work fine. just make sure it doesnt leak. let it fully cure before anything petroleum based touches it.
