i had a question about a coolant temperature sensor. i have a 1990 crx si with a b18a1 swap i have the sensor for the guage connected and there is another sensor next to the sensor for the guage. then when i was looking around i found another sensor which seems to only be for coolant cause its on the housing for the thermostat.. is that also a coolant sensor and if so why are there 3 coolant temp sensors and what do the other 2 do since one is for the temp guage. any help would be sweet.

also my car doesnt start when its cold. i cleaned the idle air control and replaced the rubber rings for the injectors. tested the injectors there good also. checked all vacuum lines and replaced any cracked ones. once the car does start after like ten times i have to hold it at 4500 or higher to keep it running for about 5 min otherwise it will kill again. once it is all warmed up it idles fun and starts fine which is weird. it will not idle when its cold and takes forever to get it to start any ideas?

I am having the same problem car starts great when warm out but cold it takes like 45 mins of cranking to start it, i know it isnt the main relay or the fuel pump i am hearing all the right sounds from both that tell me they are working. If you figure it out please let me know! Ill do the same for you! Member "keep h8n" posted on my thread about the same problem as well so it must be a common problem somebody must know the answer!!!
