What coolant temp sensor? Theres 3 of them, 2 in the side of the head and then one in the thermo housing for the fan switch.

Actually kill that idea. Go to http://www.acuraparts247.com then go under your car, then go to water pump and all the sensors are shown there..

That sensor shouldnt be there on an 00, it should only be there on the earlier 90-93ish models. Also, since the TPS sensor is "non-replaceable" by acura standards, they dont sell the gaskets for them. I might suggest to go to autozone or some other auto parts store and get the "create a gasket" paper that is just gasket paper in sheet form (and you cut it to whatever shape you need). Also, the "green" sensor on the older integras can be found under "ENGINE SUB CORD-CLAMP" at acuraparts247.com....which is where you can get the part # or buy it.

The only sensors I recall being by the oil filter are the knock (above it) and the oil pressure sensor (its a 1 wire plug that is a male on the sensor and doesnt have a plastic surround). The crank sensor is by the oil pump on the side of the engine.

This is a B18A (older LS motor) that has the green coolant temp sensor on the back of the block, the one slightly down and right is the oil pressure sensor and the knock sensor (which this does not have) would be straight up from the green sensor, right underneath the head.

No, not even the OBD I (94+) GSRs had it there. Neither my 95 or 00 GSRs had it back there (it has 3 other temp sensors.....I mean, how many do you need?). All the same, there shouldnt even be wiring for it on your 00 harness.

Can you get a picture of it and maybe a few of the rest of the motor? Does your car have the wiring for it?

Knock sensor looks like:

As previously stated, its much higher up. It sits on top of the coolant tube vs down below it.

Actually some of the P28s on the market now (aftermarket chipped units) do support it and no problem.
