Default Clutch is stuck...car wont go in any gear

When I step down on the clutch it gets stuck and I have to pull it back out. Well now the car wont even go into any gear. If the car is off it goes into gear but when I turn it on and try to put it in gear the clutch pedal fees like jello and the car wont go into any gear. So now my car is stuck in the parking lot. Can anyone help me out on how to get it moving again? Maybe im low on clutch fluid? Where can I check that. Basically the clutch is stuck down and the car wont go into any gear.

I got a date tonight to. Oh someone told me I should put brake fluid in my slave cylinder and it might work. Where can i find the slave cylinder?

Sounds like your slave cylinder is on it's way out...or already went out.

You can get a new one for 14.99 at Autozone....it's east as hell to change.

The slave cylinder is on the front of the tranny...it's only 3 bolts you have to take off. To get it out of there...put the car in 1st, then turn it on...and it will start rolling.....you'll have to do that at each light....

But you might need a bit of help on changing it...you have to bleed the clutch after you put the new cylinder on...

Well i looked underneath the clutch pedal and I got some grease on my hand so I think my master cylinder might be bad to.

Sounds like one or both, as far as making the car move, you can put it into first and then start it, however this is bad for the starter and will make you car lurch forward, and you will not be able to swich gears but at least you can move it. There is a reservoir right next to the brake master cylinder but much smaller its probly empty. You will have to bleed it any time you open the hydro circut.

So is it right under the hood then to fill it up with brake fluid? Right where stewie is? If i put in some brake fluid can will it temp fix it so I can bring it to a shop or a garage.

Ok I checked the clutch fluid and there is fluid at the bottom of it. I opened up the lid and then the lil lid inside of it and there was a light blackish fluid in there. Ill push the clutch down a lil and itll get stuck at the bottom and have to move it back up with my foot but car still wont go in any gear with it depressed all the way down.

you might have a broken seal behind your pedal thats why there was grease back there

Well i already ordered the CMC and slave cylinder so hopefully its one of those that is causing it. I been reading that the CMC goes bad at about 100k and Acura even put out a notice about it so im pretty sure its that.

if the pedal is sinking to the floor and you have fluid underneath the carpet by the clutch pedal its the clutch master cylinder, if fluid is leaking from the slave then thats what you may want to inspect.

the hydraulic clutch system is sealed. so it can leak from the clutch master or the slave cylinder. you can tell where its leaking from.

there is no thing as clutch fluid, you use brake fluid, since its a hydraulic system.
you bleed the system from the slave cylinder as well.

Well its not like totally leaking on to the floorboard. But the rod connected to the clutch pedal that goes into the firewall is coated with dirt and black grease.
