so i got my oil changed down at jiffy lube today. They also replaced the fuel filter and did a "fuel system cleaning". So i get in my car and my check engine light was on. Didnt think much of it at the time and tholught that those guys probably wouldnt know what to do anyway. I'm starting to worry. Im gonna stop by tomorow and see whats up. what do you guys think?
i didnt see that video but i did see them using that machine. I was paying attention to them and watched them take out the fuel filter. Thats funny though because when i was watching the guy it seemed like he kept turning around to see if i was there. But what would them not doing anything have to do with my engine light being on.
go there tomorrow ask them nicely. if they are honest they will take responsible. If not, its time to b1tching. with loud voice so every customers can hear it..do some hand actions too. seriously.... good luck
ps: do it yourself next time, if you have place, well find somewhere else.
Well on the way home from school today it turned off. I'm still worried. I was planning on going back today but I guess if comes back on or something i will go back there and bitch. One of the guys there had a 99 black ls with mugen mf8s and i was talking to him the whole time so i doubt id have to bitch. Hed probly hook me up.
I took my car to get a oil change in my old civic (R.I.P) and everything was going fine as i sat in the lobby waiting to get my car back and they came in and said "sir i think i need to show you something" i said ok and went in the garage . they said my tranny was leaking . it literally looked like they pored some sort of stick liquid all over it . i said there is NOOO way anything is leaking i cleaned then motor before i came. they were ready to take out the tranny.. and take all my money. i said to the mechanic"I came here for a oil change nothing else so just do what i told you, and clean up the mess you made on my tranny"
i never went there again, and after it was cleaned it never showed any sings of leaking anywhere
