Re: CEL code P0452 Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (dcfour)
it could be the gas cap, or...
Let me guess you are running a 98 ecu on a 96 or 97 car?
if so, your car doesnt have the proper sensors to turn that light off.
the car will run fine for like 1-2 days then all the sudden "WHAM!" that light is on again. there is nothing you can really do about this, unless you got the skills to put in the proper sensor. I found this out the hard way, I spent 100bucks at the dealer for them to tell me this.
So your best bet, get an older non 98 ecu or convert to obd1 like I did.

uhmm i don't know because ... i had a problem with the ECM and like i guess the dealer changed the ecu with it and they replaced the wire harnesses... cause my radio and my meshies got jacked at the dealer... so yea i don't know if they used a different year ECU. how much do you think the ecu's would be?

If you convert to obd1 you won't pass inspection because they won't be able to read the obd1 ecu through the jumper. That's what one station told me.

Re: CEL code P0452 Fuel Tank Pressure (boiek9)
i might have found away to get around this code... you will need a 10k potentiometer. you can get these at radio shack. the fueltank pressure sensor reads in terms of reference voltage. the ecu shoots out around 5k to most of the sensors. wire in the potentiometer between d10(reference voltage) and pin d15(fuel tank pressure sensor) and ground the potentiometer to d11 wich is a ground. Dial the potentiometer down between 2.4 and 4 until the code goes away. ... if this works i plan to post this all over honda tech so that people can finally get rid of this ****** CODE
