Car Won't Start Clicking Noise
Alright guys, my Integra won't start.
1995 Acura Integra GS-R B18C USDM
I think I already know the problem, but just to clarify so I don't have to take any other stuff apart on the car.
All my accessories including my headlights turn on, when I try to crank it all it does is make a clicking sound. I think what happened is that my ignitor or cap and rotor are bad. I know it's not the starter because the starter would make a whirring noise. I also replaced the battery 2 weeks ago.
Am I right? See the funny thing is I replaced the cap and rotor like 2 years ago so they should still be ok.
I'm so busy today and this happens

I don't think it's the starter because...
I was able to get it to crank over once...and then it died. That's why I think it's the ignitor coil.

I still think it's a starter issue, a cap/ignition problem won't effect your starter. Sounds like more than one issue. Personally I would address the starting issue first. Then address why it's not running.

if it does not crank why would you assume its your ignitor? that has nothing to do with cranking, if its not cranking and you have 12v and you got it to crank for a second then its your starter, check for voltage at the signal wire while cranking if you have power its the starter.

Re: Car Won't Start Clicking Noise
I'm having a similar issue. I have this same model intergra, 95 b18c 5 speed and it will not turn over. I put a new battery on it and nothing, iv hit the starter while trying to start it and nothing. When I first got the car bout 9 months ago I'd have to hit the start for it to engage but I haven't had to for about 8 months. It's not making a clicking noise or anything when I try starting it. All my dash and headlights come on still. I tried pull starting it to see if the starter was bad and it started but I couldn't get it to rev and when it came to a halt ot would die. I'm thinking it might be my ignition switch gone bad but I'm not sure. Could use a little knowledge this is the first Acura/Honda iv ever owned
