Default car wont start anymore!

well... its been a while since ive had a problem with my car... and now i have one. i was driving home when i heard a "pop" from my exhaust... idle became rough... then my car died shortly after. after several attempts to start it... it finally started again. parked it for 15 minutes. started car again... headed home. i was almost home and then my car bogged a few times... then it shut off. DAMMIT! it never started after that and we ended up pushing the car home.

i currently have 141,000+ miles on my b18b and its turbocharged.
im thinkin it might be my ignition system:
-MSD digital 6+ gone bad
-stock rotor needs to be replaced
-spark plugs covered in oil (seal leaks) and wont ignite
-distributor has finally went bad

or somethin is seriously wrong with my motor. what do you guys think?

sound like your on the right track with the ignition. The pop very well could have been un ignited gas seeping into your exhaust and later igniting

My knee jerk reaction is fuel system... Have you checked your fuel pressure and delivery?
With the pop, and then sluggishness while driving... maybe not getting enough fuel, and engine is starting to starve...

i have a problem with the "popping" sound too coming out the exhaust, i notice it when it rains, and i let go of the trottle while turning a little... it makes like 3-4 popping sounds, people on here said its normal, and the dealer told me, i probably need a valve adjustment. Well, i did that with new spark plugs and it still makes that sound. So now i think its just a dirty air filter, but my car never shut off on me.

could be... my inline fuel pump comes on when i turn my key to power. one time, when i was tryin to get my car started... the minute i hit the gas, it shut off. i dont know if im havin a fuel leak or somethin. ill probably check my fuses to make sure my stock fuel pump is still working. i dont think its a fuel issue though. cuz the first time my car died on me... i was able to start it back up and drive it before it shut off again.

stock fuel pump? adjustable FPR?
stock fuel pump, inline fuel pump, and vortech fmu.
