Ok so by integra has been sitting in my parents diveway for about 5 months now.. I put a brand new battery in the car today and went to start it up it would not even turn over at all..

I am getting power to the car the radio and the windows work, the air blowerworks ect..

the weird thing is when I push the clutch in and turn the key its like the power cuts out or something when I do that because when I turn the key to start it, the yellow abs light comes on but as soon as I release the key the yellow abs light turns back off, also the little green LED on the air vent controls turns off and so does the radio.. yet the cluster never loses power.. but as soon as I release the key everything comes back on

I checked the fuses under the hood and under the steering wheel and everything seems to be fine..

I had a similar problem once before but that was because the main fuse on the car was blown from trying to start it with jumper cables and at that time there was no power to the car at all.. this time I am getting power but I feel like something is disabling the starter from cranking over..

I checked the clutch switch that the top of the clutch pedal hits when the clutch is NOT pushed in and it seems to be in perfect working order

I have seen in other threads to check the main relay but How can i tell if that is working properly?

the fact that when i turn the key the abs light comes on and the radio turns off leads me to believe this is an electrical problem..

I do have an alarm installed in the car but it appears to be disarmed because the little red LED on the steering column that blinks when armed is not blinking..

any input is greatly appreciated.. someone is driving long distance to come see the car tomorrow and I am worried if I cant get this fixed in time I am going to have to cancel on him..

take it out and stick it in the freezer for a little bit, plug it back in and try

ok so I have done some extensive searching and I think it is possible that my clutch switch is bad.. the thing is it looks like it is working fine except the car acts no different when I have the clutch pedal depressed or not.. so that may be it..

when the install tech installed my alarm with remote start he made it so it could be started without being in the car with the clutch pedal pressed in so he jumpered something somewhere.. maybe that connection went bad or something I dont know..
