LOL, I have no idea what car/motor you have. So I'll guess 30psi.

be nice to my brother guys. he's new to the car world haha. he has a integra gs-r with a b18c1. he just wants to know how much boost he can run without building his motor. i told him to search first but he's freaking hard-headed.

Honda-Tech : Home of the flamers.

I'm going to assume since this is in the Integra forum and Gen 3 is the most popular you have either an B18B1 or a B18C1. (All Gen 3 Integra's came with a B18 by the way. B18B1 is an LS engine, B18C1 is a GS-R engine, B18C5 is an ITR engine. Other variants exist but these are the biggies)

Either of those engines you really don't want to go over 7 psi unless you have deep pockets.

As a matter of fact, I'd even be uncomfortable with 7 psi and I might even go with 4 psi. But I am paranoid #1. Many people before you and I have ran 7 psi successfully.

I can't speak for any other type of engine.

You sir are an idiot. There are lots of people that run over 10psi daily with no problems on a stock motor. It's all in the tuning. I wouldn't go over 7 psi unless you have real management though.

Judging by the original poster's question and stated budget, it doesn't appear that he'll be investing in highly-tunable engine management or extensive (if any) tuning. It seems as if he's simply looking to bolt-on a kit and go, in which case I'd definitely suggest maintaining a conservative boost level.

OKay, look like ppl are saying u can go to 7psi without emu but for racing and like 5psi for daily driven, then boost up ur psi to 10 when u get enough money for a emu (Hondata s200)It's all in the tuning.

i have heard of 90 dyno pulls and 10 runs on the track at 16psi with a medium sized turbo. many people go over 11psi on a stock block. Its not necessarily the boost pressure, because turbo sizing has a lot to do with it. I would say 300whp with a t3/t4 or 275 with a smaller turbo is reasonable as long as it is professionally tuned. FMU FPR and V/SAFC`s DO NOT CUT IT. But if i were you i would get the lambo doors so you can be a stunna at race wars this weekend.
