can smog test be passed with this??
hi peeps i have a 90 ls that i just bought a few weeks back now i need to get it smogged (i got it @ a good price, thats why i bought it without bein smogged) so i have a few questions: 1) how many o2 sensors are on a stock ls? 2) i know its a good idea to get a new cat for smog (the car failed with orig. cat) can i get a high flow cat? or should i get an oem replacement? and #3) can anyone give me feedback on the obx cat? will i be able to pass a smog test with obx? our are they so cheap that it wont help? i never used obx before so i apreciate any info

I doubt OBX is that good. Your better off getting a oem cat. I think there is only 1 o2 sensor (right before cat.) good luck...the shop that I had the hook ups at is busted

1) one
2) might as well get a high flow cat, oem is hella expensive.
3) yuck. obx. megan racing makes high flow cats, not too expensive.
buy from my friend

1 o2 on a primary on the header since its obd0 not on the collector side of the header like the 92-93 tegs which are obd1. might as well get a carsound or something cause oem will cost you both your legs and an arm.
