A/C compressor whining/whirring noise when engaged
my compressor is making a whining or whirring noise when i have the a/c on and engaged. yes, sounds like a supercharger. 
i searched and i am reading that it might be the compressor bearing going bad. can anyone confirm this? is it replaceable without taking the compressor out of the engine bay? if so, how much would the part be and how much work am i looking at?
