Update. Sent my ACT 6-puck in to get re-pucked but the center section was out of whack somehow.. they sold me a new disc at discount.

Scooped up this Gsr cluster. Opted for this in favor of a giant tach. Probably get a shift light for the column though.

Hit it with a cartridge roll to smooth out the casting lines

It looks like you've just mucked up your cylinder heads with a die grinder. Especially the gasket surface.

Yeah, it's getting decked. I was going off this article.http://www.theoldone.com/articles/b16a_head/ If anyone has anything actually productive to say, that'd be cool.

Maybe hit up the angles in the pnp with some rouge and a cotton wheel. You don't always want things mirror smooth in a pnp but the angles benefit from it.

Also it looks like your valve seats took a few nicks. Make sure you get a valve job when they mill it.

I ditched the B16 trans in favor of the the ls for this turbo build

Skipped a couple steps to get to this point. Nothing too noteworthy..

It's not as bad as it looks.. actually kinda fun. Well, the main shaft is kind of a pain because the gears are pressed on so tight..

Alright I need help. So the main shaft is binding up when I torque down the casing. I read all the articles and nothing on this specific problem. I replaced 1-5 with carbon synchros.
