Default Buying a 92 GSR

The car isen't getting any spark is it common to have distributer problems or are there any other issues that are common.

my ignition coil is shot on mine, i got a rs DA
yea common with such an old car and high miles i suppose

No think its around 80k on it but it was not used for a couple of years.

it sounds like it needs a tune-up..

plugs, wires, cap, rotor..

check the ignitor or the coil.im not too sure on how but mine had the same problem and i swapped out mine with my friend's ignitor and it fired right up.it might be one of those

Will it run on a ls ecu, or at least get fire.

i bet it has spark and its just old gas if it was working when it was put away. if not it could be distibutor or ecu, but p61 ecu's are impossible to find.

no spark=check your ign coil.

i had the exact same problem and this was the culprit. it fired right up once i changed it out.

It has no spark and the coil was changed.

+1 for the ignition module (igniter)....pop it out and take it to your local autozone for a free test

I think he replaced the ignitor.

check all your ground wires.....
I had the same problem with my civic, replaced everything and it would not start..

then I looked around and found 1 loose ground wire and 1 a little rusty, fired up when I addressed both, and replaced working parts with new working parts...

I was not very happy because by then I was $300 down the hole for 2 f'ing wires
