Default brakes, need help.

I changed my front and rear pads with hawk ceramics and front rotors brembo blanks. When i was done changing them i noticed that the front pads were coming in to contact with the rotor. I figured this was normal since the car hadn't been driven. Well yesterday i was chaning my oil and i noticed when i spun the wheel it sounds the like the brake pad is barely coming contact with the rotor. The rotors have a lot of grooves in them as well, which is odd because i just did the brake job less than 3 months ago.

So,

The pads shouldn't be coming in contact with the rotor at all when its parked right??

And my rotor should be completely smooth too right??

i need some help.

thanks
Bobby

the brake pad is always pretty close to the rotor, sometimes can hear it when you are under the car spinning the tire, but i dont know how bad you are talking about..

If you can spin the wheel, then the brakes aren't too tight.

And yeah, new pads will squeel when changed, I don't know why, and I don't know how to stop it either, anybody got any input on that matter?

yeah i pushed the caliper all the way back in and the new pads barely fit.

on the another note next time you change the pads spray ANTI SQUEAL its like 6 bucks at autozone on the back of the pads. it helps from squealing.
