Brake Pads
My brake pads need to be replaced now and I was thinking of getting some better pads. This is a daily driven car(lots of stop and go traffic) so I want the braking to be smooth. I don't want too harsh of an initial bite. I just want to know what pads you guys have and good places to buy them.
My rotors also need to be resurfaced, so I was wondering whether I should just get new rotors like Brembo blanks to compliment the pads or if rotors don't make much of a difference.

Re: Brake Pads (01silverteg)
i have some pos pads rite now.. but when i get mine replaced i will get some axxis ultimates for myself cuz i had a post up a while back and they had great replies for them... and they aren't all that expensive either. You will find that alot of people on here recommend cobaltfriction.com for purchasing.

Re: Brake Pads (dre000)
Everyone will have a different opinion on brake pads... here's mine.
I've been running Hawk HPS for about two years. Daily driven, very little stop and go for me. They work excellent for autocross. They have worked excellent for a two-day race school (to the point the brakes were smoking) still no fade. I'm hooked!
Note: Also match your better brakes with some Motul 600 and you'll be straight.

Re: Brake Pads (garados)
another sign that u may need new pads is that when the pads wear all the way out.. then the piston has to get pushed out farther.. which will in turn make the fluid level in ur brake reservoir low.... which may cause u to see the ebrake light come on n off intermittently while driving.
