brake noise
I have a 1995 gsr and I had brake noise about 1 month ago and replaced the rotors and pads, front and rear, recently I get a little squeaking noise but sometimes when I'm not braking and last night I started to hear a slight grindin noise. Today I am going to check all the pads and the rotors. Could this be a caliper problem and if so how do I know which ones are bad. Also the squeaking while I'm driving could possibly be a wheel bearing but I'm not sure

Re: brake noise (domepizzle)
Grinding noise may be normal for aggressive pads (what are you using?), as may squeal under light/no use.
Using shims and a good brake lube on them and the back of the pads should alleviate brake noise.
Sanding rotors w/ GARNET sandpaper in circular strokes around the rotor face might help.
Sand pads w/ Al oxide paper if they seem glazed.
Chamfering leading, trailing, and outside edges w/ a file may also help.
Noise doesn't = faulty brakes, though.
