blox rear lca wow
installed brand new blox rear lower control arms this spring, today got the car lifted for some oil change and noticed something:
rubber bushings on the lcas where shocks connected are torn to crap. wth
anybody had this happening with those? if not what could cause this?

Re: blox rear lca wow (qazaq)
The rubber bushing part of the aftermarket LCA's is the main weakpoint. I know Megan LCA's has this issue. Apparently Blox does too.
Personally, the gains of using aftermarket LCA's isnt worth the worries. I switched back to the OEM LCA's. I doubt there will be a loss in handling by using the OEM LCA's.

Re: blox rear lca wow (CARMA_626)
in my case the reason why i got the blox clas is when i was installing new springs and shox i end up cutting few bolts holding oem lcas so they got kinda screwed up so i got a set of blox lcas because they ended up being cheaper than picking up oem ones at the junk yard..
now im screwed :/

Re: (shake_em)
which ones would i need tho:
"Rear Shock Mount Bushings Honda / Acura"
or
"Rear Control Arm Bushings Acura Integra 90-01"
im guessing that would be shock mount bushings? since the control arm bushings will be only two bushings where control arm is mounted
can anyone confirm it?

Re: (98PAITR)
the skunk 2s i picked up had the same problem. skunk 2 apologized and sent me a whole new set. i tried to put my energy bushings but they wont fit.
lube up the busings with a lubricant and you should be fine.
the bushings werent fuked up bad. they were just cracked. call blox and complain. they should send u bushings.

that seems like it is for the actual shock and not the control arm. can someone confirm that? is it not the rear control arm bushings?
if someone has done this to their blox lcas, what is the part number you guys purchased?

16.8103 Rear shock mount bushings are what I got. The set comes with the upper strut bushings and lower bushing where the strut mounts to the lower controll arm.
If you want a set for every bushing in the arm 16.3109 Rear controll arm bushing set would be the one.
I thought it was pretty self explanitory.
