blown gsr block worth?
my ringlands were trashed on my gsr block and im probably going to buy a sleeved one. one of my buddies wants to buy my gsr block. nothing is cracked or severly wrong with it. what should i sell it for? just a bore and hone and its good to go. i think he plans on getting it sleeved anyway.

I got mine for $650 but it came with CTR pistons and only 2000 miles on it and new oil pump/water pump. So yours is worth maybe $500? Are you including the oil pan/water pump/timing belt covers/oil pump?

its blown though. it needs pistons/rods. he only wants the bare block, already has oil and water pump and other stuff. bare gsr block with crank and main girdle

thats steep...i've gotten complete GSR shortblocks in that range. I would honestly say about $200 is fair

Its practically a paper weight at this point. He will probably offer you $150 seeing as how it needs a bore and hone to be useful. Just because he is planning on sleeving it anyway does not mean that he's going to accept it in bad condition for that price.

I want a deal like that. I want a spare head so when I am done building my high compression block I can put the CTR pistons that came with my new block in the original one that is still in my car with some new rings and run that said head with stock cams. Find a civic hatch shell and throw a second project together.
