Black fluid in my clutch resevoir?

Black fluid in my clutch resevoir?
How often are you supposed to replace or drain your clutch fluid? some of the fluid in the clutch fluid resevoir is black.

same way mines was last week when i flushed it..the actual fluid was very dark in color so after flushing my brake fluid i used the rest to flush the clutch resevoir and first i sucked out the old fluid with a baster so i would not have to flush that old grimy fluid thru the lines but after sucking it out of the resevoir i found about 3mm of grimey,mud looking **** at the bottom so i cleaned that all out and then put fresh fluid in then flushed...
