Re: Best LSD (Akalima)
The best LSD is the stuff that this guy named "Carl" sells out of the back of his... oh wait... nevermind...
But in all seriousness if you are pushing a lot of ponies and want to autocross, there is none better than the Quaife unit.
They have a lifetime warranty which INCLUDES racing.
They are gear driven so there is no clutches or plates to wear out and replace.
It's not as pure race oriented as some of the other plate/clutch type ones, but that means that you will be able to drive it on the street and not have problems.

Re: Best LSD (Akalima)
best lsd=quaiffe hands down. You wont have any daily driving annoyances, you'll forget it's there until you need it. Drop the extra cash, its worth every penny.

Unless you're making over 300whp and/or loading/unloading the differential often with moderately high power.
Oh, and another for Quaiffe.

Re: (DsBananas94LS)
Clutch Type LSD> Helical/Torsen...
Also, I have two friends running OBX lsds...One in a street D series and another in his race car. No problems removing the axles, no clearance problems...
However, you do need to disassemble and retorque everything... Good material, just very poor assembly.
There is alot of talk recently in the Road/Race forum.
