Default best b series setup?

i just got a 94 ls, with a ls motor and gsr tranny, i want more power though dso i was wondering what the best b series setup is, i was gonna stick with the ls block and get a b16a2 vtec head cause its only about 400 bucks lol but i want a itr head but its 1000 bucks, so whats the best setup + tranny? thanks

you are goign to get many different opinions so here is the right one.

The best setup is what you can afford.

P.S. there is more to ls-vtec than just buying the head. I suggest using the search button at the top right to further your knowledge.

just start reading man. the b16 head would be better if you are trying to stay within a desired budget. think about it. you have 600 extra dollars you could use. maybe a new clutch or lsd or cams or bolt ons. start reading on a thread called "how to build a reliable ls-vtec setup". i would go with that b16 head and try to beef your motor up a bit. good luck on the build

God these questions get old. Go to yahoo, google, hell, anywhere and look this **** up. Even the search button on HT will yield plenty of valuable info. And please... dont spend any money getting an ITR head. Its still a PR3. Not worth anything more than a B16 unless you just half to have the best OEM JDM ****. It you want to go fast, get a B16 head and work on it.
