Re: batt reclocation Q's.
Ok so got everything I need... but one big issue, the ring terminal for the fuse box none will accept 8G and still be the right size for the screw that hold it down. I looked everywhere as you can see by the pic space is limited, yes I could shave the plastic down but one thing remains that little hook is it needed or not I'd imagine its a ground or something???. any suggestions I thought about cutting a few inches back from the plug and somehow connecting the new wire to the old section with the plug.
As you can see space is limited and the ring has to be the correct size for that little M5 bolt.

Trim the outside of the terminal and if the screw fits too loosely use a stainless washer to get them snug. Make sure the washer isn't too thick as that screw is not very long.

why not use an original end for one of those fuseboxes and use one of these splices? GB HST-WP 8 to 14 AWG Wire Butt Splice Kit

if you have a home depot they may carry that splice, if they don't they can probably do it ship to store as they carry GB electrical products

I did see it but there's the issue of them shipping to Canada and believe it or not the import charges for such a small item. this is my only option I would rather not use it but I don't have much choice, thanks for that link tho.

I'm sure you can locate a Molex distributor in your area and purchase them locally?
If sending a small envelope from the US to Canada doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I could send you a few?

I just took a look at the shipping and tax costs they would charge...you're right.

FCM had suggested PICO and when I went to the 1 place that does carry specialty car audio they said "we only get what our distributor sends us". And when I went to get the 8g connecter the ring hole was massive and they said that was the only size we get, believe me I looked at all our big/little hardware stores too. Thanks for the offer man. but i'm just going to run the block worst case I'll get Teknotik to solder the 2 ends or something.
