okay so im sure that im due for a bushing overhaul.

when i drive my car with no weight shifting i hear a slight hum. i turn to the left therefore transferring weight to the right, the hum gets louder. but when i turn to the right, transfering weight to the left, the hum completly goes away.

anybody know what bushing that might be?.. i also notice that the rear driverside tire wears out more on the inside than the rear passenger tire

How do your RTA bushings look? I'm just guessing but maybe the hum is from a way out of alignment tire. It could be caused by bushing failures or just a desperate need to get aligned. Maybe there are other possible causes as well? It's just what occurs to me at 2:00 in the morning!

you sure its not a wheel bearing?

Uneven tire ware = wheel alighment problem.

Cause of alignment problem can be any number of things, the alighment shop should be able to point out the problem. 94
