b18 will handle more boost due to thicker cylinder walls...But my friend ran 16lbs on a stock b20 for a couple months till the boost spiked causeing the car to be parked till he got a new engine for it

B18, and if your going to buy an engine. Buy another b18 and rebuild it. That way if/when your old engine decides it doesn't like boost anymore, you'll have the rebuilt one ready to rock!
