Depends on what you want...

A turbo has way more potential, a supercharger moves up your whole curve and gives you instant torque. With a (roots) supercharger, you're limited to the 13's, which for some people is fine. It is more of a "plug and play" solution than a turbo setup. For all out power, a turbo is best, but it is a little more work to get it right.

I agree. If a little more power( 40%) is okay throughout the powerband, go with a supercharger. If you want a lot of power (100-500% )and a little bit of turbo lag, go with a turbo. The ultimate decision will come up to you, depending on what kind of driving you want to do.

lol. I'm considering SC myself, for the purposes of trying to daily drive my car and just get a little more torque out of our gutless low end cars )

You made a really good point there, there's actually no such thing as good investment for your car, most likely it's for your own personal satisfaction which is GOOD. But a house is a good investment all around

How reliable are you talking about w/ just stock internals? how long will your head gasket last, if it's daily driven car and how long will the pistons/piston rings lasts. I'm talking about not abusing the car everyday, but probably like revs it once day TIA

Wrong. The smaller the pulley the more boost it makes. This is because the smaller pulley has a smaller circumference which means with every crank rotation the SC pulley has more rotations.

BTW there are no rotors in a supercharger.

It's funny how many people replied to this without ever having maintained/owned a FI car.

DO A SEARCH!

Acually The smaller the pully The more revelutions it makes compared to Crank pully speed. Smaller the Pully the more boost it will put out.

If crank turns once then the charger may turn 3 times its a Ratios.

If you are a drag racer, go turbo. If you are a street racer, go supercharger. Comon, if your at a stop light, are you going to race the guy till the end of the quarter mile? most of the street races, you go from 0-60 mph.

turbo you can crank up the boost with a boost controller, supercharger you are limited to the biggest crank pulley (CRV) or smaller charger pulley to raise boost.

But, remember too much power especially for the streets you will be spinning 17s all day.
