B18C Crankshaft pully TDC vs. Timing belt Drive pully TDC
Hey guys, after taking my cam sprockets off and replacing the water pump, i'm having an issue with the timing belt. I've replaced the new timing belt 3 times now. As of the last time, the Timing Belt Drive Pully is lined up exactly with a straight-edge with the mark on the oil pump. The Camshaft pulleys were then lined up, and after they all 3 are at TDC, I put the bottom plastic cover on, and then just mount the crank shaft pulley and it's off by about a millimeter. After taking it off, the Timing Belt Drive Pulley is still lined up as are the Camshaft pulleys. Is there some room to move there? Is the Drive pulley TDC on the metal oil pump more accurate than the Crank shaft Pulley TDC mark on the plastic cover?
I'll take it all apart if I have to, but I thought I'd ask before I did.
