ARGH Supension noises help!
Hey guys well another suspension issue for me, about 2-3 months ago needed new axle boots, and Axle. Now i notice when i am driving and hit a bump, dip, or just uneven road, or anything like that. (Low speed about 5-15) I get a crick/rattling sound. sounds like it is coming from the Front of the car only. So correct me if i am wrong, either it could be a engine/Trans mount or what else? Side note: Also vibrates on acceleration. What test/tests can i do to figure out the problem? Thanks, Brian

sounds like they are not in all the way if they are new. then maybe your axle seals are gone, and maybe if not that then they are not engaging into the trans, and halfshaft all the way. they have to have no space there. and also make sure your axel nuts are tight, i forget the torque specs but that can cause noises too !
good luck

Re: (Jimmy)
The honda dealership was supposed to replace the font axle, but i doubt their ablility since they put the axle boots in wrong, resulting in the axle going bad and them replacing it. *Sigh* i guess i will go back to them for the third time and have them check it.....
