Anyone running 215/40/16 tires?
I was looking to get some new tires for my Circuit 10's and was wondering what size to get. I just wanted to know if anyone was running 215's? I would like to know if there is any rubbing issues when turning only. I have omnipower suspension and I really don't rub at all when going over bumps.
I had my car on 195/50/15's on it before I bought my Circuit 10's. The height of the tire package doesn't change that much, less that a half inch, but didn't know if the extra width would affect anything. I might just stick with some 205's, but would like a wider tire if the Integra permits it.

The outer diameter of 215/40-16 is too small (outer diameter almost 3 percent smaller than stock). Besides, 215/40-16 is an oddball size and there are very few tires in that size anyway. The outer diameter of 195/50-15 is too small, too; the best 15" sizes are 195/55 and 205/50.
Use 205/45-16 for 16" wheels on your '94 Integra; it's the best match, there are lots of tires in that size, and it won't rub. You can also use 215/45-16 and they won't rub, but there are very few tires in that size. If you want to get the Azenis RT-615, they're newly available in 215/45-16 even though websites don't show them as out yet.

Should stick with the 205/45/16... otherwise speedometer and stuff will be off.

Yes, it took me forever to get the new azenis rt-615. well not really forever but one week of finding someone to get them for me and two weeks waiting for them get here. I have circuit 8's in 16 inch on my 96 integra with 215/45/16. it fits pretty good, the only problem is with how i want my ride height i will probably need to roll my rear fenders. my car is not slammed, but those are big tires.

Re: (JDMwhiteDC2)
Thanks.
I'll probably end up getting a set of Yokohama Parada Spec 2's in 205/40/16. I figure this way I get the clearance I need in Sidewall height and overall wheel/tire height is less than stock. Plus I won't get too wide of a tire and have any issues with rubbing since my car is extremely low. Don't really feel like rolling the fenders on another car of mine.

I had 215-40-16 and my car was dumpted. well my tires were tucked about a inch in the back 1.25 inch in the front. i didn't rub at all and i didn't roll my fenders...i prefered those. and about the spedometer being off? how do you figure it would be off?
