Default Another hit-and-run story but with a good ending...

I stop at a redlight when all of a sudden, this Toyota truck hits me hard from behind. So when the light turns green, I put on my hazards and pull over to the shoulder to exchange information with the other driver and see what happened. All seems to go well so far.

Right when the guy seems to pull up behind me, he swerves and guns it on the freeway. There was no way I was going to let this guy get away with this so I chase after him. All the way down to Shoreline, I'm high-beaming and honking his @$$, hoping I'll get a cop's attention. After a few minutes of chasing his @$$ down, he get's off the Shoreline exit. We're driving towards an intersection when the light turns red. Of course, he was determined not to pay my damages so he guns it on the red. Too bad a cop was about to turn in the other lane. Cop pulls his punk-@$$ over, not knowing that he just pulled a hit-and-run. After the light turned green, I pulled up behind the cop. The cop asks me what I'm doing here and I told him what happened. The punk-@$$ driver had no insurance and it seems that he had a warrant out for unpaid tickets. The driver got what he had coming to him. He claims that he didn't hit me but the scratches on my bumper matches up directly with his bumper. Cop arrested his @$$ for unpaid tickets and attempted hit-and-run. As for damages, there's only a few slight scratches but nothing major. I still don't care if there's no damage. That driver should've stopped and I would've let him go since there's barely any damage but he ran and now, he's going to jail. That punk got what he had coming to him.

The End.

Good job man. Happy to hear it worked out for you. Hope he get whatever the maximum penalty is and has to work to pay for all your damages.

Less than a month ago someone hit me and ran as I moved out of the busy traffic. I wish I could have chased the f*cker but all the traffic was blocking me and the rain was flooding the streets. In the end it was arright because car suffered minimal damage.

Good job on catching a jerk on the road. Although it would've been a smarter move to just get his license plate number. Never know what kind of psychos are on the road these days. But hey, it worked out.
