Another Check engine light after Seafoam ?
97 Ex 78k miles I did the intake manifold treatment with seafoam and have a engine check light. What are the odds of this clearing itself after 100 miles ?
Thanks

Re: Another Check engine light after Seafoam ? (alotawatts)
change your o2 sensor, all that **** that came out of your exhaust system may have caused your o2 sensor to go bad.
next time take your o2 out and and plug the hole and then do seafoam

pull the code on the ECU and see what it is first. Its prolly gunna be either random misfire, or like the guy above said, O2. if its random misfire its just because the seafoam drowned out some spark and you can just reset your ecu. If your O2 is clogged then just clean it off, and try resetting your ecu. When I did mine it was a random misfire code.
