Alpine SPR-176A Component set



Ive done this install before, and this is what it ends up looking if you use the provided mounts given to you in the component set.


I want to try to keep the stock tweeter screen, basically the stock look. I want to try to not hack up the tweeter itself.

The problem comes in when the stock tweeter is about the size of a quater and the Alpine tweeter is about the size of a silver dollar.

I posted in here hoping someone had done this...If anyone has done this, let me know how.

what i did is took a hard piece of plastic and cut it as big as the stock ring cut a hole in the middle for alpine on and i think it looks good and my friend said it didnt look too bad either

I cant immagine that I could cut a ring out of blak plactic that would look better than the smaller ring from alpine.
