Default all motor mods

here's a noob question for ya. Ppl always talk about all motor mods like pistons, valve train ,head valve job ,intake, exhaust ,ecu, etc. and those are not considered drastic . I wanna know just what would be a drastic mod. I mean there is only that much **** you can do to n.a. motor ? ( talking 'bout a stock block/head b18c here )

A drastic build would be taking your b18c and having it sleeved for a 2.0 liter. Have the entire motor blue print and balanced, then put in 12.5 cr forged pistons. build the head, (valvetrain, big cams ie. SKunk2 stage 3 or jun3, and port and polish), add a big intake manifold, 70mm throttle body, and do alot of tuning.
