Acrylic enamel is a single stage polyurethane paint. It has the color and clear mixed together. The other way is base coat/clear coat. Personally, I like the single stage because over time from washing your car, since the color and clear are mixed together, you are continually washing down to the same thing(color and clear). On the other hand, with base coat/clear coat, once you wash it for so long, the clear fades and you wind up having to wetsand and reclear.

Re: (b-power)
Acrylic enamel is pretty durable from what i have seen ( i have it on my accord, sprayed it myself which was a PITA). It is however harder to spray so i suggest if you were to do it yourself go 2 stage but if you wanna jump on the 399 special and have single stage done go for it. It wont have the depth and shine of a multiple stage paint but it will still look nice
