Default 98 4dr C-Pillar Bar.

I haven't got around to taking off the panels, but I was just wondering something a few mintues ago.

Are there any places in a 4dr to mount a C-Pillar bar?

im pretty sure u dont need a c pillar bar on a 4 door bcuz theres a that piece between the trunk and rear windshield that connects and strengthens that part
of the car. unless u just want it for looks?

I went through the trouble of taking the c-pillar moldings off and there's nowhere to mount a c-pillar bar. The only holes that are in that area are too big and too thin to thread anything in...you could weld something on there, but the outermost metal is thin and separated from the actual frame of the car...if that makes sense.

I should have taken pictures...

Bottom line, there's nowhere to conveniently and effectively mount a c-pillar bar in a DB teg.

That is Ricky's DB... Custom mounts were made to bolt the bar onto the c-pillar. It served no functional purpose. He did this for fun, much like his 1 of a kind rear window visor. The DB rear speaker tray does the job a c-pillar bar would do in a DC.

If you choose to go through the efforts of bolting one in, make sure you also install a B-Pillar bar to give your back seat passengers an experience they'll never forget.
