Default 97 Integra heater blend door?

How do i check it? Heater isnt hot, both heater hoses off the heater core are hot. 180 degree thermostat it warms up to temp...its a 97 LS

There is a black block in the bay by the firewall. This is where the coolant flows through to the heater core. Make sure that the cable for the heater is connected and working.

that valve was bypassed by the previous owner, so it cant be that

Then you need to hook up the coolant hoses to flow through there. That how the coolant gets to the heater core.

A 97 Integra uses a heater control valve... http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/199...ter_valve.html not a blend door, if valve is bypassed and still no heat the heater core is either plugged or there is air in the system. 94

ive stuck a water hose to the heater core and water flows just fine. Pretty sure ive got all the air out?

Does the mode control work, #4... http://acuraautomotiveparts.org/acur...s=&view=normal can you change from vents/floor/defrost and how is the airflow, do you have all 4 blower speeds?

Do you have A/C? 94
