Default 95 SE ABS Light Code 1 "Pump Motor Overrun" Help

I got my integra special edition with the ABS light on. I extracted the DTC and got a code of 1, which is the ABS pump motor over-run.

The description of diagnosis says the following: "The ABS indicator light is turned ON when the pump motor relay ON signal is detected for more than 40 seconds while the ABS is not functioning."

I ran through the troubleshooting and got up to the section where it asks to measure the voltage between the modulator unit 14p connector 4 and the body ground. I got a yes on the battery voltage.

So it says "Repair open in the BLK wire between the pressure switch and body ground, or poor ground." what do I do exactly?

I'm guessing that something is wrong with the ground connection between the ABS control unit and the modulator that is causing this problem.

Anyone run into the same problem? I'm about to give up and send it to a shop... Any insights would be much appreciated. There is no leak, and accumulator holds pressure just fine.

I had the same problem, same code. All I did was refill the reservoir to max line, bleed the abs unit, then refill to max again. I guess it's a common problem and you should bleed the system every once in a while.

i have a 94 ls. i was just wondering, when you atart the car it makes a weird noise like its trying to suck flouid in at the abs unit right? if so all i did was take out the blue fuse from the abs fuse box. let it reset for about 10 seconds. never did it again. i hope that helped or made sense. remember i just giving you advice.

Quoted for truth. I had the same code for my ABS system and all it took was a couple minutes of bleeding the system and the light is now off and ABS works once again.
