Default Can i put a spoiler from a gsr hatch on a trunk lid?

Does anyone know if i can do this? Are the dimensions different? I.e. the distance from side to side. I want to know before i buy one. Also, can i hook up the third light without dimming one of the other 2 tail lights. I know if they are hooked up in series they will be dimmer.

Not sure about your model, but on '96-'00 Civics at least (and some other Hondas I've seen) there's a plug for the standard third brake light. Look in the trunk "ceiling" and you should be able to see it if it's there. Anyway, that is where the spoiler plugs in for the new third brake light on the spoiler.

Not sure about the mounting holes or dimensions. Worry about how it might turn out too. I've noticed a Mustang notchback running around town with a hatch spoiler on it and it is not good. The angle is all retarded.

Thanks fro the info i guess i will stick wingless. I don't really like aftermarket spoilers that much.

Never seen a DB w/the GSR wing...If your set on a spoiler why not go w/the OEM DB8-r one? Plus its specifically for your trunk lid with no need to deal w/electrics at all (minus a hole or two to secure the wing)

Yeah that looks pretty good maybe i will go that route. I am gonna put a type r motor in it eventually, when the B18c1 dies. It has 217000 miles on it at the moment. still a good motor though good power and does not burn oil, i only paid 2500 for it so i figure i got an ok deal.
