92 Gs-r Bad fuel pump, new walbro , Car Still Won't Start. Help
Ok I am bringing my 92 Integra Gs-r back to life it has been in the garage parked for a little while. The Fuel pump would not prime. I changed the main relay with the main relay in my 93, still won't start or prime. We checked for 12v at the fuel pump, we have 12v. Ordered new walbro pump, dropped tank installed new walbro ( smaller verison not the 255 ) Car still does not prime or start. Check for fuel at the fuel filter nothing. Switch ecu's Nothing. Still will not prime or start.
Sorry for the long list, we have done everything that we know to do. Anyone with any advice would be greatly appreciated.

With all that being said I would have to say you have a ground problem. I would follow the ground for the pump back to where ever it is (sorry no insight on where it is). I had a similar problem on my old EF and it turned out to be a wire pulled out of the ecu connector (blue wire I think). If you are questioning whether the pump is good then just straight wire it directly to a battery. Lol when I was searching for my problem I actually had the battery sitting in the back floorboard. Hope this some how helps you out a lil.

yeah i am going to go through more wiring tomorrow. we ran out of light and motivation tonight, but we tested the fuel pump that came out of the car and it actually worked fine with the battery trick, so i would only imagine it has to be something along the lines of wiring, but i dont know where the ground is either for the fuel pump, i just know we are getting 12v and it still wont prime, or send fuel

thermostat grounds look fine. guess i will go to the ecu wiring, although this car is all original when i switched ecu's to check and see if that could be the problem, i dont think the ecu had ever been out of this car

the sock was smaller on the walbro. I was wondering if it would still prime or not even if there is only say a gallon or two of gas. a factory one would, but i am running out of options with no help

So you can't hear it run? There should be an access port in the trunk so you wouldn't have to drop the tank btw. Do you even hear the main relay click? Check fuse 14 I think it is the alternator soleniod valve I think its called. I hope this will help you out a lil bit. Plus a helms manual would probably be a good thing to have and follow the diagnostic tree.

have been through the helms manual... going to try another main relay tomorrow, but that one should be fine because that was the first thing we switched from my 93 gsr that i drive weekly. there isnt an access port for the pump you have to drop the tank so once i try another main relay, then i guess it will be on to dropping the tank and seeing if anything is wrong with the new fuel pump

Re: (Si2See)
have you verified that your fuel pump turns on when you turn on the ignition? and have you checked your fuel pressure to see if your fuel filter or fuel lines can be clogged or blocked?

Finally !!!!!!! I Fixed it. The number 24 fuse was blown, so I was thinking if it is that easy then I am an idiot, but that it still didnt start, had power to the plug, but when we dropped the tank didnt have power to the pump, so we followed the wires that go around the tank, and dead center it was cut in half somehow. fixed it runs like a champ. Thanks guys
