Default 90 integra dirt race car

i just bought a 90 Integra that I'm turning into a dirt track race car! the car has to be stock(no engine swaps) and has to appear "stock". we are allowed headers and a cold air intake and that's pretty much about it! It will be raced on a 3/8 banked dirt track, where mostly are dominated by probes, escorts and neons. Nobody has actually tried running an import yet.... So im up for the challenge!

Any tips, suggestions or prior experience is greatly welcome....

Thanks in Advance

I have limited second-hand experience with this. If it isn't obvious, get some meatier tires, like snow tires, if they're allowed. Other than that, I got nothin.

buy a set of koni yellows, or koni str, or bilstein yellows. run your stock springs, or go and find shocks from a later year teg (94-01) tire choice, that's hard to say. if you can find dirt track tires, and are able to use them, then yea, go with that. snow tires are ok. rally tires are ok too.

this is only what i can suggest. have no idea what rules you have with tires. you can paint your shocks black if you're worried about that.

Thanks for the response guys... Ill look into getting some shocks for it and painting them to look stock! We also have to run street DOT tires, I have heard that I need to find soft tires to help grip the track better...
