90-93 integra dash removal
I was wondering if there were any DIY's out there to help me remove my dash.
I need to install a new climate control.

You do not need to remove the dash to replace the climate control, just the trim around it.
Remove lower dash trim, [drivers side] don't forget the screw behind the change tray, and remove the two screws holding the lower part of bezel, one on either side of steering column.
Remove two screws at the top of the bezel, [above cluster] remove the blower fan and A/C switch *****, remove the blower fan switch cover and the screws under it, remove the screw at the right end of bezel, to the right of heater control panel, remove the bezel.
You can now remove the climate control. 94

i bought a switch for my 93 ls special and it seems to look different then what i got so i bought a whole new dash assymbly and it seems to be the same switch i bought before that still seems different. my heater went out except the lowest fan speed and iv replaces everything but the switch and after talking to some specialists it was decided the switch needed replaced.

This is the 93 Integra LSSP, [special] #18 is the fan switch...

This is the 93 Integra LS, #18 is the fan switch...
http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
Part numbers are the same
This is the 93 Integra RS, #28 is the fan switch... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
As you can see the fan switch is the same although the mode controls, #14 and #22 are diff., maybe you have the "dash assembly" for an RS.
You said, "iv replaces everything but the switch" does that mean the blower resistor was replaced?
#7... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
It is the blower resistor that actually controls blower speed and is far more likely to fail then the blower switch. 94

When you have A/C, the A/C switch is in the center of the fan speed switch.
Without A/C the fan speed switch is #18 with A/C the fan speed switch and A/C switch is #24 they both go in the same spot, [mount to #5, temp. control plate]... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...iagram&count=0 94
