so i have a B18a1 in my car, i am not sure if it is from a 90-92 or 93
i have heard multiple times the valve lash is slightly different from those years.
Q how would i go about determining which lash specs to go by, what marks on the head?
pics, suggestions, comments all welcome!

From the service book valve lash adjustment doesnt seem to be different.. Enjoy.

i know how to do valve lash.
my question was how do i determine what head i have?
what marking am i looking for?
yes it is a PR4 head but is it 90-91-92-93?

I always thought the only difference was obd0 to obd1 but now you got me curious to.

the specs are:

90-91 b18a:
.0059-.0075 intake
.0066-.0083 exhaust

92-93 b18a
.003-.005 intake
.006-.008 exhaust

94-up b18b
.003-.005 intake
.006-.008 exhaust

once again at it again, figured i would switch to head studs rather then bolts
only issue was the camshaft cap bolts one snapped and another twisted like a vine.
4$ and 30 minutes later

once again bored and wanting to show someone how to do valve lash! so i will be loosening the lash a thousandths of an inch!
