sounds a little more bumbly than others, but not bad. looks cool. with a turbo it will be pretty quiet.

I am running the 5Zigen cat back, and I really like the tone. It is fairly quiet, nice rumble and tone at higher rpms, and imho, not like a can of bees like some of the others out there. Plus, the cops dont really seem too interested in hassling me either with this exhaust.
The fit is very good. However, weird rattle at low RPM take off.. cant seem to find the source of it.

I have a fireball catback on my GSR. It's pretty quiet. especially after breaking in(a few track days). I do not recomend this exhaust to anyone with a turbo or 180+ whp engine as the piping inside the stainless canister reduces down to about 2 inches. I would go Tanabe RM stainless with silencer for the street if I were to do it again. I get alot of compliments on the looks of the 5zigen.

Oh I almost forgot. The welds on the stainless polished canister are excellent. The welds on the rest of the exhaust however, are poor and messy at best.

i used to like the 5zig canister style fireball exhaust, but due to my location, las vegas, there are only a few shops to actually stop at and the local rice shop so happens to supply the whole town with just the mufflers, due to cheap bastards that want to get the hook-up "buy 5zig and 50% off any light of some sort kinda bullshit" . go greddy or tanabe!

I have one my 94 Teg and it sounds really nice. Mine actually is deep and mellow but when you hit 6500+ it sounds amazing. The only downside of it though is that if your car is lowerd over 1.5 inches the bottomof the canister hits on a high bump. I solved it by putting a 1x2 " piece of metal at the lowest point, looks the same just bigger sparks at night.

Haha, yeah man I know your pain on that one. I have the catback and the damn shops out here have the uni and sell it to everyone. If I didnt like the style so much Id change it just for that reason.

Mines extremly quiet compaired to all of my friends exhausts systems, even with a 2.5" test pipe and DC JDM ITR header. I love the looks and sound of it!

Interesting, most guys are saying it is quiet on their Tegs, I had one on my Crx, it was frikken too loud especially on the freeway I thought I was going deaf.

I ran the 5zigen on my ls with a turbo, and no cat. It was remarkablly quiet, but sounded good imho.
